We decided to take a motorcycle up to Taroko National Park. The traffic sign is sufficient to direct the first timer like us up to the national park.
The motor above was rented in the only motor-rental agency in Hualien that rent to non-international driving-license holder, Xiao Ma 小马 (Little Pony) which is just around the train station. Oh, by the way, it's not a motorcycle; it's a scooter. Never drive a scooter before indeed hahaha....
Half-way, the traffic was stuck in the tunnel. The road was blocked one way an hour. It's blocked to repair the landslide which happened during the typhoon few weeks before that.
Lunch at the top of the small town. And yes... you may recognize the purple rice again....
Muncungkan mulutmu???
The Taroko National Park HQ
The nice Sandakan-St.Michael-like church half way from Taroko back to Hualien.
Night market and feasting time!!! The famous Hualien Coffin!!!
It's yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!
The nice room we stay in. Again, it's quite cheap. It's about RM90-100 if I remember correctly.
