Sistem Kuota Galakkan Rasuah Politik

(Bernama) - Naib Presiden Umno Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin sekali lagi mengulangi gesaannya agar sistem kuota untuk melayakkan seseorang bertanding dalam pemilihan parti tidak diteruskan kerana ia boleh menggalakkan amalan rasuah.

"Saya berpendapat sebaik mungkin cari jalan agar sistem ini tidak diteruskan kerana selain ia tidak sesuai, ia boleh menggalakkan amalan rasuah politik.

This coming from the VP of UMNO. From the 1st glance, I thought... "wow. did Muhyiddin come to his sense now???" BUT he's not talking about all the quotas in the NEP and stuff but the nomination quota in UMNO election where you have to get nominations from certain numbers of division in order to challenge the higher post.

BUT IT DOESN'T TAKE A GENIUS TO CONCLUDE THAT IT'S THE SAME WITH THE NEP POLICY RIGHT?

FOR ME, IN A WAY, AN UMNO LEADER IS ADMITTING THAT THE QUOTA SYSTEM IS ENCOURAGING CORRUPTION. FULL STOP.
