Now You Must Learn How to Capture People's Attention and Your Master's As Well.......

NST has a headline : OBAMA SALUTES NAJIB

And when you read it......KUALA LUMPUR: United States President Barack Obama has congratulated Datuk Seri Najib Razak on his appointment as prime minister and said he looked forward to working closely with Najib in the years ahead.

Can someone enlighten me on the meanings of the two "bold"ed words above? Are they the same?
