REPOSTED FROM DEC 07 AFTER ADDING CAPTION
I was a typical budget traveller. Cheapo hahaha.... So I was asking the driver on cheap accomodation before going to Sun Moon Lake. The recommended hotel is about RM100 a room I think. Should be about that range lah! When the bus dropped us at the Sun Moon Lake, we started to walk around and browse for rooms to stay the night and since we have recommended accomodation, we were ignoring the "touts" that keep offerring us accomodation. We pretend cool lah bah kan?
We were actually looking for boat trip as well. Sun Moon Lake is very nice for sunset according to the LP (not lanpa but Lonely Planet) so we were looking for prices and scouting for boat package. The lady who answered our enquiry on the boat was asking where were we staying. She insists on getting us to see the room she has and since we can look-see-look-see, it's ok lah kan? Below is the picture of the room entrance. It's lower than the road as you can see. The name is very Japanese-like.
And the room turned out to be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NICEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
That's the 2 queen sized bed in some cool green silky bedsheet.
The nice and clean toilet with the usual toiletries and also recyclable towel.
Comes with the bar........ Tequilla anyone?
The beds, from the other side. The space was partitioned with nice comfy silky curtains as well!!!
The curtains taken down. With TV of 30+ channels and air purifier too!!!!!!!!!!!
All this at the mere cost of about RM60 er....or RM50??? I kinda forgot but it should be around the range. Or RM80? Someone remind me please?
Nice room!
ReplyDeleteIs it a hotel or hostel or resort?

CA,
the house-based accomodation sometimes offered more specialty indeed. the fact that you stay with local is more appealing indeed.
