Learning from TV (#3) - Grey's Anatomy

We all think we're going to be great.
And we feel a little bit robbed when our expectations aren't met.
But sometimes, our expectations sell us short.
Sometimes the expected simply pales in comparison to the unexpected.
You gotta wonder why we cling on to our expectations
because the expected is just what keeps us steady, standing... still.
The expected's just the beginning.
The unexpected......
is what changes our lives.

Totally agree with what is quoted. However, I think these 'expectations' were made when our heads are filled only with great ideas but no whatsoever hindrance & therefore they most of the time, fall short. Having that said, it doesn't mean that I'll just accept it & I think everybody should work towards these 'expectations'.

i think the 'process' of reaching our expectation is much more important than the 'results' (bad/good). So, we should enjoy the 'process' as well......
