One of my favourite - Cheek to Cheek
If you are familiar with HK music scene, you will know Hanjin 陳奐仁 especially if you know Edison Chen. The Invisible Man anyone?
Given his hip-hop and trend-setting background this recorded-in-one-take-with-a-3-piece band-back-to-basics-raw jazz album is indeed a pleasant surprise! After searching for it high and low, I managed to get it from Rock Records in KL. Branded as on eof the best album of the year by Times magazine, this will stay in my playlist for quite a long time.
