Can't Get Enough Of It

Those who criticize Lee Kuan Yew for holding on to his power by becoming the Cabinet Senior Minister or mentor should pay their attention up north.

Dmitri Medvedev became Russia president under the "protege"ship of Vladimir Putin and succeeded the post from the latter. And Medvedev gave his "mentor" the post of Prime Minister so in a way, Putin never leave the circle of power.

Given the complexity of the political scenario in Russia and its highly mysterious structure of government still perplexed by the secrecy of institution such as KGB which Putin was from, it is not a surprise. Read more here

Guess you can't get enough of power!!! Speaking of power, Sandakan just had an hour of power cut when it rained heavily just now. And in that sense, Sandakan people never have enough power to start with. I wonder how the SESB will spin the whole episode again in the paper tomorrow. Stupid me!!! What else??? It will be the same old excuse they churned out years after years after years....... OK, that's a diversion of topic. Back....

Now I think TDM should be thumping his chest as he should make the same agreement with Pak Liar when he hand over the PM-ship to him. But we are a not a republic like Spore with President and Prime Minister so TDM can't do what Putin did but only can emulate what Lee KY did. However, I think he REALLY did think of emulating Mr. Lee's move but his ego is too big to "copy" the genius plan of Mr. Lee. Too bad. Now he has to go through the hard way by melaga-lagakan and mengadu-dombakan all this people like Najib, Tengku Razaleigh and now he even go to the extend of "warning" BN of the possibility of Anwar leading the country, which I think he said before it's not gonna happen. Desperado.

Speaking of Anwar, he is in the Time Magazine 100 Most Influential People in The World list as 1 of the 20 people under the Leaders & Revolutionaries category with the company of people such as Dalai Lama, Putin, the 2 Democratic candidates, Obama and Clinton and Republican McCain, China's Hu Jin Tao, recently elected Ma Ying-Jeou, Sonia Gandhi and Bush. I wonder whether FIL and TDM jealous or not? Oh... no.... they will accuse him of Jewish connection etc!!!
