After the Taiwanese sunrise watching, we proceed to the woods. Most of the trees were very old and some of them were thousands years of age.
This is Spouses' Wood. Supposingly looks like the husband and wife holding hands from afar. Which one is husband and wife, I guess you can judge.

This is one of the famous home-stay near to the main town bus station area in Alishan, unmistakeably identified by the replica of the train next to the entrance.

" Gao Shan Qing.... ..... Alishan De Gu Niang......" OK, the name of the hotel we stayed is Gao Shan Qing and yes, it's the title of the famous "mountain song" that Cruel Angel remember so much. In fact, I think the room on the left was the one I stayed.

We left Alishan in a 7-seater orginally rented by a group of traveller from Canton, China and together, we proceed to Sun Moon Lake.
Upon reaching Sun Moon Lake and checked in to the nice hotel (previous post here), we make way to the boat trip to the lake itself and saviour the nice view of the sunset.
And it's such a coincidence that the travellers from Canton that we shared the 7-seater before this were on the same boat too!!!
The boat brought us around the lake and we stopped at one of the rest house and it's a nice holiday get-away kind of retreat. It's equipped with canoe for rent, fishing facilities and a nice room to boot too.

yeah. but i didn't manage to capture nicer pics.
my whole trip includes taipei, alishan, sun moon lake and hualien/taroko national park. we went by ourselves. i think the place is nice. the whole thing is about 2k i think. about 12 days i think. let me check 1st. forgot :)
