Rent for a Death At A Funeral? (UPDATED)

RENT (2005)
Tagline : No Day But Today

Loosely based on Puccini's La Boheme, it's a smash hit musical in Broadway and brought into the big screen produced by big names such as the Rosenthal and Robert DeNiro. Guess it retained most of the broadway casting with addition of familiar names such as Rosario Dawson and Taye Diggs. Lots of nice songs and the singings of course are very good. Well, brilliant!

Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes.
Five hundred twenty-five thousand moments so dear.
Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes.
How do you measure, measure a year?
In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights, in cups of coffee.
In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife.
In five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes
How do you measure a year in the life?
How about love? How about love? How about love?
Measure in love... Seasons of love.

DEATH OF A FUNERAL (2007)
Director : Frank Oz
Tagline : The story of a family that puts the F U in funeral
It's Very British

I forgot where I bought this but as I always said, good comedy is hard to come by and since I like dead-pan British comedy, I bought this without hesitation. However, it's not watched for quite a long time since my Akira DVD player refused to play it.. along with some other DVDs. That explained a long list of unwatched DVDs (yeah.... excuses). Typical British dark humour though I think it's not the best of the breed. However, it's still a good watch for a laugh. If you like British movies, try this.
