My Date with Mona Lisa

The date was not bad but I think she's over-rated. And it's not that fair to the others too.

I'd been there and seen her. Enclosed in a glass casing in a big room full of large pictures at the lourve museum. It was packed with visitors but I managed to squeeze right through them to get the picture.

and the funny thing is... most of the visitors left after seeing her!!! totally unfair to the others haha...

I know what you mean CK. But to be honest, it wasn't as grand as I expected it to be. Nevertheless, the Lourve was amazing, that was my consolation :)

hype or no hype is not for ordinary people.

it take an artist to appreicated an art.

that's why artist is born with it not learn.

it's not like i dun appreciate it but guess it's some over-rated mass interest it generated irked me a bit. and i felt tat it's not fair to the other work of other artists.

but again, nothing's fair in the world.

Read somewhere before tat it wasn't her appearance tat got the painting to be so famous, rather it was the work itself - the visibility of her veins, strands of hair etc in a hand-drawn work tat was the "first" in those days.
Hmm...guess it was only extra-ordinary THEN then.
